The Life Ready Story & History
Life Ready’s practice is rooted in people.
Grounded on the psychoanalytic and relational philosophies, Life Ready approaches clients by sharing in the space, listening to their narratives, and co-creating experiences that allow for growth and healing since 2019.
Our onsite clinics in Davao and Zambales and online services aim to cater to people from all walks and experiences of life. We also value partnerships and allied support, because we believe in enjoining partners and communities in building together the kind of mental health space that suits their needs.
As practitioners and psychologists first, Life Ready is also for its people, as we believe in creating a safe space to practice and learn in the craft with proper support.
Life Ready Psychological Services
Life Ready first established its presence as an answer to accessible mental health. Back in 2019, one of its co-founders visited Davao, her hometown, and saw the lack and limit in mental health awareness and access. In response, the seeds to Life Ready were planted, with the goal of making Davao one of its greater headquarters. When the COVID pandemic hit, the directros decided to make its online presence the focal point. After all, access to mental health during the time was integral to the changing physical and social landscape, and Life Ready’s response was to, of course, adapt.
Life Ready Psychology Davao
In 2023, the founders of Life Ready were called to start reaching out to more areas in the country to provide better access to mental health. Davao was the first site, as it was a place that two of the founders called home, and one where they wanted to strengthen the community’s overall awareness and practice of wellness. The late Nicar’s dedication and patience provided strength to the foundations of the physical space, and it still stands as a testament to her desire to be of service to her hometown.
Life Ready Academic & Life Skills Center
2024 was a year of expansion for Life Ready. As its online presence and Davao practice started taking off and taking root, Life Ready then explored another aspect of wellness that needed much attention: life skills. Mental health comes hand-in-hand with life skills, as they move forward together in unlocking and nurturing the potential of individuals with exceptionalities. Life Ready Academic & Life Skills Center in Zambales is the first step in that direction.
