About The Therapist:
Ivy holds a license as psychometrician and psychologist after she received her master’s degree in counseling from the Ateneo de Manila University in 2017. Since 2014, she has been doing clinical work, both in assessment and therapy, training under renowned Filipino psychologists.
She handled cases involving neurodevelopmental disorders, trauma-related issues, mood and other clinical disorders, parent-child conflict, general psychological distress, and interpersonal and intrapersonal challenges.
Ivy is passionate about test standardization in the Philippines, having been involved with test design and standardization projects for various organizations. Her work in asessment and therapy is grounded on evidence-based research and a stringent compliance to the scientific process. She also holds the senior research assistant position at the Ateneo School of Medicine and Public Health. The program focuses on assessment and intervention of children with neurodevelopmental disorders.
As a certified yoga instructor, she incorporates mindfulness-based techniques and mind-body connection principles in her clinical work. She is currently training under the National Psychological Association for Psychoanalysis in New York, USA.
